Community Engagement in the Political Process

This project makes America safer and stronger by facilitating a collaborative exchange of best practices and strategies between U.S. and European professionals on how to best engage local communities in the political process. Participants will explore how citizen groups, community and political organizations, and social entrepreneurs organize local and regional partnerships and mobilize volunteers for engagement. They will also examine the role of the media on the public agenda, including the emergence of new technologies.
